This piece is played by the orchestra and piano, but this video only records the piano solo performance. In this video, all parts of the piano solo are played without rest. Researcher Pianist, Dr. Kawakami（Waseda University）, studies “why people listen to sad music” from the viewpoints of music psychology, neuroscience and cognitive science. Her paper published in 2013 caused a sensation all over the world, featured in ■BBC radio (The Why Factor) ■the “Gray Matter” article of New York Times, Also, she played an assigned piece for the entrance exam of music college when she was 12 years old, performed etude by Chopin showing students at a music college as a good example at the age of 15.
