Crews of Tornado-G disrupted the rotation   Combat crews of artillery units of the 58th Guards Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District, supporting the offensive actions of Russian troops, disrupted the rotation of personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in one of the sections of the Zaporozhye direction of the special military operation. Taking advantage of bad weather conditions, Ukrainian nationalists attempted to rotate their personnel in the Zaporozhye direction. But the air reconnaissance assets of the Southern Military District figured out this attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and transmitted the target coordinates to the ‘roaming’ crew of the Tornado-G MLRS. The principle of a ‘roaming’ weapon allows the crew of a combat vehicle to move to the firing line in the shortest possible time, and after inflicting fire damage, also promptly leave the firing sector, preventing personnel from being hit by enemy return fire. Due to the presence of an automated guidance and aiming system, topographical reference and navigation, the Tornado-G crew inflicts fire damage automatically. The Tornado-G MLRS is a deep modernization of the Soviet Grad multiple launch rocket system. The Tornado-G complex received a modern navigation system that allows it to receive and process signals from satellites, making the MLRS more maneuverable, as well as an automated fire control system that allows the crew to enter a flight mission to use projectiles without leaving the vehicle.
