Uluwatu is deceptive from the land, and nearly always heavier than it looks. Strong currents, dangerous reef, and sneaker sets are all factors that can put beginner/intermediate surfers out of their depth. A few of the surfers at the start of this edit definitely felt the power of Uluwatu, even though it was a relatively small day. This video features land & drone footage. Enjoy!
