Blame it on the Scumbag Boogie!

There’s a lot of reasons that @schorembarbier became a success, timing, quality, aesthetics, perseverance, social media, never letting the truth spoil a good story, shitloads of luck but above all, we BLAME IT ON THE BOOGIE!!! The SCUMBAG BOOGIE that is… I know, I know… Everything has been done before and I’m not gonna have the arrogance to say we came up with that haircut (although I never did or saw one before I tried it on @chi_ho1 almost 13 years ago when I had my illegal, speak-easy barbershop on the second floor of the squatted building I was living in) but I sure as hell gave it that name morfing the name of the shop (Schorem roughly translates as scumbags) with the classic Flattop Boogie when we came out with our posters… Without a single doubt the most requested haircut in the shop (The boys once put a sign on the door that the Scumbag Boogie was completely sold out 😂😂) Hadn’t done one of these in forever but when loyal Schorem patron @yvesroobr
