Over the last 40 years, world leaders have been incapable of making the long-term decisions needed to deal with the climate and ecological emergency. We can't trust governments to make the bold, swift and long-term changes necessary to fix the crisis. 25 climate summits have gotten us nowhere. Citizens’ Assemblies are a solution to the deadlock and inaction. In November 2020, We the People, from over 20 countries gathered for a Worldwide People’s Assembly to find solutions to halt climate change and biodiversity loss. The outcomes and recommendations from the 2020 Worldwide People’s Assemblies were in line with most scientific and technical advice. Help spread the word.
