I built a portable, lightweight, yet mighty equatorial mount with two HarmonicDrive gearboxes. The EQ mount weighs about 16lbs and can support 25lbs without counterweights, or 70 lbs with counterweights. Update: I finally finished cleaning up my design files and released all of them (part design, solidworks drawings, BoMs, PCB boards and so on) here: BGMs: Podington Bear - Bated Breath Gotye - State Of The Art Portugal.
