There’s no denying that the Tesla Model 3 is one of the most popular all-electric saloons in the world. No matter where you are in the world, chances are it won’t take long until you spot a Model 3 driving by - and an all-new edition is due out in early 2024! The question is, will this all-new Model 3 be able to keep hold of its crown? Or could some other all-electric saloons take its place, such as the IONIQ 6, Mercedes EQE or BMW i4? Well to start off, let’s check out the design of these four EVs. Starting with the new Model 3, there are slimmer headlights up front as well as a big central vent in the bumper. There are new alloy wheel designs as well as some specially designed tyres for the car, and around the back, there’s a set of new taillights and an updated bumper. On the inside, there are a number of new features. The seats now come with ventilation, and there’s an LED light bar that runs along the side doors and across the dash. The stalks have also been removed from the steering wheel, with indicator buttons now added to it. Next up we have the Hyundai. The Ioniq 6 has a sleek, swooping body design, coupled with dual spoilers at the back. It comes with a pixelated light design similar to the 5, although it also has a bit of a strange rear bumper design. The sleek looks continue around the front, and all-in-all it’s pretty smart! On the inside the design is pretty similar to the Ioniq 5. There are good quality materials across the dash, and a large infotainment & digital dial dual screen mounted to the middle of it. Next up we have the EQE. The outside looks pretty much identical to the all-electric EQS, but it’s just been made a bit smaller. There aren’t any smart creases on the outside either. Thankfully the interior is much more striking. There are two interior styles to choose from, and both come with an absolutely huge infotainment screen - one of these stretches across the entire dash! The digital dial screens are super smart, and there are soft-touch materials throughout the entire cabin. Then finally we have the BMW i4, it looks seriously impressive! It comes with the large ‘grille’ design at the front, side skirts along the side, and at the back, you'll find sculptured tail lights and a mini bootlip spoiler. Step inside and the design is the same as the all-new M3 and M4, so you know it’ll be nice to sit in. But then it’s not a surprise given it’s built on the same platform as the M3! So they all look nice, but then it comes down to the price. The new Tesla Model 3 will be released in the UK in early 2024 and will cost from £39,990. The Ioniq 6 starts from just under £47,000, and the i4 starts at around £50,000 price tag. But the most expensive car is the Mercedes EQE, which will set you back £69,000!
