“Teen Town” for Hiram Bullock - Jamming on this Jaco Pastorius classic with my long-time bass brother Darryl Jones, along with a crazy fun band of killer players was big fun, as we honored Hiram Bullock. Oz Noy on guitar, Kenwood Dennard on drums, David Mann on alto, Clifford Carter and Delmar Brown on keys. We all knew Hiram, most of us knew Jaco pretty well and admired and loved them both tremendously. THERE WAS NO REHEARSAL- It was strictly the honor system, so some “bad” notes were intentional, some unintended. If you hear any clams- it’s probably me 😛….thanks to Steven Sternick for putting the footage together. Recorded by Ken Freeman.
