National Theatre, Tokyo Presents August 2021 Dance Performance “Opening the Door to Traditional Japanese Dance“ (Performance Date: August 1, 2021 / Venue: National Theatre Large Theatre) Available Until Noon JST on March 31, 2024 “Traditional Japanese dance” may sound a little ceremonious to the modern ear. However, it is a genre of dance that is alive and well in Japan today, just like ballet, contemporary dance, street dance and other forms of movement.
