Honda recently unveiled an update to its iconic adventure motorcycle, the CRF 1100L Africa Twin, for the 2025 model year. The new iteration continues to assert itself as the benchmark in the large-capacity adventure motorcycle segment, now offering updated graphics and new color combinations. The Africa Twin name debuted in 1988 with the Honda XRV 650 Africa Twin, a road-going machine directly inspired by the NXR 750 and a four-time Dakar Rally winner (1986, 1987, 1988, 1989). Since its reintroduction in 2016, Honda has sold more than 104,000 units across Europe and consistently ranks among the top three best-selling motorcycles in the Japanese market; it was the most-registered motorcycle in 6 out of the 8 years between 2016 and 2023. Additionally, over the past year, 63% of Africa Twin Adventure Sports customers opted for the DCT version. After constant updates over the past two decades, both versions of the Africa Twin arrive in 2025 with no mechanical changes. The CRF 1100L Africa Twin retains its core off-road capability with a sleek rally-machine look.
