This is a live performance of Raag Bhimpalasi, an afternoon raga full of devotion, pathos, compassion and peace. I was performing for the Maitreya Loving Kindness Tour - a precious collection of sacred relics of the Buddha and many other Buddhist masters which is touring the world. () This version of Raag Bhimplalasi was taught to me by the amazing Alam Khan, son of the great master Ali Akbar Khan Sahib. I have done my best to express this raga in the spirit of the Maihar Gharana.
