4 killed, 30 injured In massive blast at chemical plant in Mumbai, India The number of injured is expected to rise and many workers and residents are feared trapped after a massive blast occurred in the Amudan Chemicals Pvt Ltd in Dombivli East, officials report. The blast could be heard from as far as 2km away, shattering glass of nearby houses as smoke billows over the area, according to residents. Multiple other explosions were heard due to the presence of chemicals at the plant, one fire official said.
