In August 2013 I took a trip to Finland to research various aspects relating to the restoration of my Futuro House. As well as examining the Matti Suuronen archive held at the Museum of Finnish Architecture, I met with historian and author Marko Home and conservator Sami Supply who showed me around the recently restored Futuro 001 on display at WeeGee in Eespo. It was too much to take in in one visit, so I returned the next day and chatted to official guide Ilari Helvamo about some of his experiences showin
