M/S of receptionist Jean Buchan sitting at a desk in an office in Pathe House, London, talking on a telephone. On a shelf behind her is a ceramic painted cockerel; seems to be the one seen in the titles of the Colour Pictorials. Putting the phone down she turns to speak to animal trainer William Lenz of Bertram Mills Circus (“Just one of the many personalities who visit Pathe Pictorial every week“) who sits in a waiting area with a chimpanzee called Janet. He gives his magazine to Janet and walks off. M/S and C/U of Janet (wearing cream jumper with red dungarees) rocking in her chair and smoking a cigarette, then flops back in her chair looking bored. “The producer wants his head examined, says Janet“ as the chimp knocks her finger on her head. “After all, what's Sabrina got that I haven't, and I'm not just a pretty face“ says commentator as Janet sticks her tongue out, licks her lips and yawns. M/S of the receptionist talking on the phone; C/U of Janet flicking through the pages of a magazine;
