The Irish have struggled for long with the Vikings raids when their villages would become under Viking attack without warning. Many Vikings discovered the riches of the Island and came back for more over the years. The Irish kings have been in constant conflict, however, they set away their differences and banded together to repel the Viking attacks. Learning this, the Vikings gathered the biggest army they could muster and attacked the Irish in a coastal battle near Dublin. 16,080 Irish of all classes who could bear arms amassed near the city, lying in wait for the Viking massive fleet to arrive. The Vikings, having raided many riches of the Isle of Britannia and Ireland, have much better equipment but are outnumber with their army totaling of 13,440. Their massive and imposing ships arrive and they disembark to finish off the Irish resistance once and for all. This is NOT a historical battle but is created for your enjoyment.
