The legendary Soviet virtuoso violinst Naum Latinsky, born in 1922, was a phenomenal child prodigy. The climax of his intuitive style performance was the episode in the Soviet movie “The Garnet Red Bracelet“ by (based on short novel) where he was featured as “Sashka-musician“ - a bar-fiddler along with his congenial partner David Ashkenazy (father of the world famous pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy).
