#Moth pays tribute to #Tiamat with a new version of the classic “Cain,“ originally released on the 2003 album Prey. In “Cain,“ Tiamat delves into the depths of the human condition, exploring love and betrayal from a symbolic and esoteric perspective. The narrative begins with the figure of Cain, emblematic of deceit and evil, and unfolds into a tale where affection has petrified, evoking hopelessness and perpetual pain. The composition becomes an elegy for betrayed feelings and eternal suffering, reflecting on the division between the divine and the mundane, with allusions to sublime beauty and the inevitable fall. The duality of being is revealed in a soul that seeks the heavens while the body lies in the abyss. In this sense, Moth presents a darker take on “Cain“ in a slow and ceremonial version, with a deep and raw sound that evokes early 90s doom metal. ---- Mezclado y masterizado por Andrés Quintero Realización: Eisenhawer Bust
