️ Ukrainian serviceman Vadim Demchinsky: ’It is best to immediately lay down your arms’ AFU serviceman Vadim Demchinsky was taken prisoner by Russian fighters near Volchanskoye. He and his fellow soldiers, who had barely been taught how to use a machine gun, were promised service in Kharkov region, where they were to dig trenches, reinforcing defence lines. But things turned out differently, and the recruits found themselves on the front lines very quickly. The way to the front for Demchinsky began unexpectedly and at all not in good will. He went to work and got spotted by patrolmen. He was detained, loaded into a car and sent to the military enlistment centre. Then there were brief training sessions at the training ground and the first task, on which the Ukrainian servicemen travelled in an armoured personnel carrier.
