Welcome to our first-time reaction to The Terminator (1984) movie. This film came out in 1984 and everything from the story to the action sequences still hold up today making it such a thrill ride. We finally got to meet James Cameron's iconic creation, the T-800. And we must say Arnold Schwarzenegger was so menacing in the role! He was imposing as the cyborg assassin and made us fear for anybody who was in his way. Sarah Connor who is portrayed by Linda Hamilton was another fantastic character. We love how Kyle Reese let's us know in the future that Sarah Connor becomes a very important person and how throughout this film you start seeing how she could become the person she's eventually known for in the future. We hope you enjoy our reactions and commentary as we discuss how this film impacted the sci-fi genre forever, how it became a staple of sci-fi action thriller, and how it solidified James Cameron as a genius of the sci-fi genre.
