Underdog - The Silver Thieves pts.1&2 - 1966

Part 1. Armies of ghostlike creatures are stealing all of the Earth's silver. Earth's military forces and the police are powerless to stop these crooks because the creatures disable the authorities' weapons with lightning bolts. One night, one of the silver thieves steals Underdog's silver ring. When he is wakened by the theft, he is shocked by his assailant and left frozen solid. Part 2. An electric shock from one of the silver thieves paralyzes Underdog. Everyone in the city tries to revive him, but their efforts fail to bring him back. In desperation, they pour sand on him and somehow the sand brings him back to life. When the citizens tell Underdog about these ghostlike creatures that are stealing the silver, he explains that the crooks are actually Cloudmen from another planet in a distant solar system and that they're stealing the silver in order to give themselves a silver lining.
