I arrived to the residency w/ a mentor describing in a powerpoint lecture how to use fabricate an implant stent. There was no hands on. Painful. These were the directions: 1. Waxup - needs approval before moving on. 2. Duplicate the waxup and pour in stone. 3. Make a vacuum formed matrix of waxup duplicate 4. Cut the matrix to the region that you are placing implants 5. Use a round bur to cut a hole in the central fossa/groove of the waxup. 6. Take a 2mm twist drill and make a divit in the cast 7.
