You can find much more about Pejačević's short yet colorful life on my blog: In contrast to Pejačević's more stormy “Slavic“ sonata, which I have also uploaded, the “Spring“ sonata - written in 1909 - is a much lighter and more pleasant work. However, both of her violin sonatas are very fine pieces in their own right, and I hope they will find more attention in concert halls sooner than later!
