James Holland Golden Flower Tai Chi Chuan Demonstration circa 1988

This Tai Chi Chuan Demonstration was around 1988/ 9 James Holland was a lovely man, a skillful practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan and a gentle spirit. May he find peace with the Dao. The filming was by my Shudi Doug Robertson - he demanded a credit :) What we have of the demonstration is all here, It's obviously from teh early days of video camera technology so the quality is not great and the camera man was not so well practiced in filmography as he was in Tai Chi Chuan :D Not all of James' students were martial oriented so not all of the demo quite comes off and there's nothing worse in a demo than students trying to help out instead of just doing what they are either told or just being normal/ regular students. But hey, every sport, teacher student situation has these people - It's OK it's a human thing.
