Why are Narcissists so Controlling? Why do some narcissists feel the need to control everything? One of the common characteristics amongst many narcissists is the need for control. Narcissists like to control their environment and the people in it. This is often due to feeling a lack of control early on in life. The lack of control that narcissists feel early in life leads them to wanting to establish control over their life later. Narcissists often establish control using maladaptive and psychologically harmful techniques that impact the people that the narcissists are closest to. In this video, I talk about why narcissists feel the need to control and how to stop a narcissist from controlling you (what does and does not work). **SUBSCRIBE** I release new videos every week!
