Syria: Refugees continue to arrive at makeshift camp near Turkish border

Refugees continued to arrive at the makeshift camp two kilometres (1.2 miles) south of the Esselame border gate in Syria, Monday. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that “if necessary“ Ankara is ready to open its borders to tens of thousands of Syrian refugees. Officials will also reportedly open the border in case of emergency situations. The refugees are escaping from intense fighting in the Aleppo region, where Syrian government soldiers are battling anti-Assad troops. The embattled
