This is film of Anna Pavlova dancing her solo 'Rondino'. The Melbourne Argus of 7 April 1926 reports it was shot at Sir George Tallis's home, Grosvenor, on 6 April, along with ‘La Nuit’. This is corroborated in Tallis’ biography 'Silent Showman'. I thank Judy and David for taking the time to pass this on to us – much appreciated. Other kind YouTube friends tell me that Pavlova is dancing with a fan of ostrich feathers that was given her in South Africa. The dance was created to use the fan. This original source for this information, my friends tell me, was Oleg Kerensky.
