Peter Bengtson plays the fourth movement, the Adagio, of Louis Vierne's Third Symphony, written in 1911 and widely regarded as the masterpiece among his six symphonies. The organ is the Cavaillé-Coll organ at Notre Dame de Metz, France. This is a virtual recording using Hauptwerk. This High Definition recording has HiFi sound.
