A compilation of timelapses from 3 nights spent at the lava flow in Kalapana, Hawaii. The “61G“ lava flow started May 24th, 2016 and hit the ocean on July 26th, 2016. The lava is flowing from Pu'u O'o vent as part of Kilauea volcano. Seeing the lava is an unreal and intense experience. The heat from the lava can be felt even from afar and made my equipment burning hot. Available for licensing: raiateaphoto@ Equipment I used: Sony A6000: Sony A7S: Rok
