Donna Summer ft Brooklyn Dreams ~ Heaven Knows 1978 Disco Purrfection Version

Neil Bogart tore a page out of the Motown operations manual and had two artists record “Heaven Knows“ using the same music track, the foremost and most famous was the Donna Summer version on her 1978 LP “Live And More“, the second was the not so widely known Brooklyn Dreams version included on their “Sleepless Nights“ LP of 1978. Their version had Donna doing the answer vocals and what great vocals they are! Sung in a lower register, they just ran chills up and down my spine! I have been on the search for a mint copy of the Brooklyn Dreams LP on vinyl since their version of “Heaven Knows“ was never made a digital download. I finally located a mint copy and got it in the mail the other day and I was immediately inspired to put this version together using the “On The Radio Greatest Hits“ LP Version and the Brooklyn Dreams rip.
