Happy new year, everyone! 🥳 We're kicking off 2024 with a Mega Man & Bass-styled remix of Sky Babylon Act 1 from Sonic Rush Adventure! This theme was always a favorite of mine, but in all honesty, most of the tracks from that game are. The calliopes and trumpets used in this remix work rather nicely in maintaining the festive energy from the original, albeit in a less bombastic way. While I was working on the remix, I started conceptualizing “Lantern Man“, a Robot Master based on traditional Chinese lantern festivals. Really makes me wish that there was one!
