Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art, was invented by African slaves in Brazil who wanted to disguise their training sessions as dance lessons. This beautiful practice calls on the elements of fire, water, wind and earth as it celebrates the power of music, dance and acrobatics. Capoeira Masters Alfred Kendrick and Bobby Page attended a few of our Wanderlust Festivals in 2014. In this video, they took to the mountains near Aspen-Snowmass and showed us how strong and fluid capoeira can be. --- Produced
