THEY'RE the Coolum shed band who have officially gone viral. The Chats and their track Smoko is gaining traction around the country, with some calling it the song of the year or the best thing since sliced bread. It is perhaps the most Australian song since Men at Work's Down Under or Cold Chisel's Khe Sahn. Smoko has racked up 282,204 views on Youtube and the boys are gaining a cult-like following. Featuring Eamon Sandwith on bass and vocals, Josh Price on guitar and vocals and Matt Boggis on drums, the three-piece are Aussie to the core. Smoko - a song about exactly that - is shot on a work site and the struggles that Australian tradies go through. The fellas have only been together 18 months but are fast becoming the next big thing on the Coast.
