US President Joe Biden has inadvertently raised doubts about his administration's trustworthiness while attempting to criticise his rival Donald Trump during an address in Florida. Biden, the oldest president in American history at 81, spoke at a community college in Tampa, Florida, just as the state is set to enact a six-week abortion ban. During the address on Tuesday, he blamed Trump for the aftermath of overturning Roe v Wade, but in doing so, mistakenly questioned Trump's trustworthiness. “How many times does he have to prove we can’t be trusted,“ Biden said. Former US president Trump had previously boasted about ending abortion rights during a Fox News town hall. Biden's Florida visit sought to leverage the restrictive abortion ban in the state. It's hoped the plan will benefit Democrats ahead of the election.
