Haydn's String Quartet in C major, Op. 20, No. 2, 2019

On Dec. 1, 2018, violinists Beatrice Hsieh '20MM and Eva Wetzel '20MM, violist Alex McLaughlin '20MM, and cellist Megan Yip '20MM performed Haydn's String Quartet in C major, Op. 20, No. 2 on the school's Vista chamber music series. “The intimate joy of chamber music—melding together distinct voices and personalities into something unified, definitely greater than the sum of the parts and beautiful—is something I miss in this time of isolation,“ faculty violinist Wendy Sharp, who directs the school's chamber music program, said. “This ebullient, delightful Haydn quartet performance, with its sophistication, wonderful attention to detail, and elegant drama, takes me out of myself and makes me grateful for our talented YSM students.“
