“Beware the great deceiver, Angel of Light He is a roaring lion, He is the fight“ This band just got on my radar a few weeks back and I must say I cannot stop listening to them. Has that great NWOBHM sound that I love, crazy melodies, hooks like you can't believe and just flat out badassery. Interesting part is they drop a ton of imagery in their lyrics, good and evil, dark and light etc. I assumed they were a more dark band that I typically gravitate towards, only to find out they are actually the opposite. Their singer- guitarist and original member seems to be a pretty Christian guy and is writing the songs from that perspective. When I heard that, I was kinda thrown as I thought they were writing from the darker point of view. When listening it's hard to tell which “side“ they are on but in the end, even though their beliefs may not align to mine, and I don't like religion in my music, great music is great music and I love this band. They have Maiden sound
