Paleontologists unveiled a new species of tyrannosaur, Lythronax argestes, at the Natural History Museum of Utah. The 80-million-year-old sharp-toothed skeleton was unearthed in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The 24-foot-long dinosaur walked on two legs like the Tyrannosaurus rex in a swampy, subtropical coastal setting. It weighed some 2.5 tons and had a large head with a relatively narrow, short snout that widened at the back of the skull, giving its forward-facing eyes a great view for spot
