This was originally my entry for the 2022 Modartt video contest. I've withdrawn this and replaced it with this one: Just some improv with the new guitar in Pianoteq 8, exploring the articulations and timbral tweaks. Physical modeling provides a lot of really fun performance options. I'm using a CP88 and Hydrasynth Explorer as controllers for a single instance of Pianoteq. The Hydrasynth lets me bend strings individually, whereas the CP88 provides better range and control over dynamics. Mallet bounce, pinch harmonics, palm mute, felt damping, and sustain are controlled through footswitches and expression pedals. The hammer hardness, filter cutoff, impedance, mallet bounce parameters, etc. were controlled via automation, although these could all be mapped to encoders/faders on either controller for full hands-on control during a live performance. What you hear comes entirely from Pianoteq without the use of any outside processing. I
