The old rusty screwdriver is quickly dismantled, because with the multifunction tool only two bolts need to be ground and knocked out. In this project, the focus is on machining with files and sandpaper (different grits). Please also note that this video is not only to quickly show someone how something works, but also to relax and unwind from everyday life! ------------------------------------------------------------ ▶ What did I do ?! ◀ The antique screwdriver was not in very bad condition, which made this restoration very easy. After I dismantled the wooden handle with the help of a multifunction tool, the screwdriver was soaked in rust remover for a day. Then it was brought back into shape with files and sandpaper. The tip of the screwdriver was hardened. Finally, the antique screwdriver was polished on the polishing stand, my favorite task ;). The new handle is made of beech wood and was fitted exactly.
