T. P. Smoke was a power trio formed by Kay Rose on bass, Rene Sejr on drums, and the omnipresent Tommy Petersen on composition, vocals and thick Hammond Organ. It seems that the three came from the beat scene of the 60s, but when the progressive rock boom came, and bands like The Nice, Brian Auger, Graham Bond Organization or its substitute, Colosseum, they switched to that “so in vogue“ sound. Apparently they played regularly in Danish strip-clubs, as a backing band in the background. Offering the best of both worlds, visually and aurally. There is no doubt that Petersen dominated the organ like the greatest. And there you can include those mentioned above. In addition to singing fantastically in a theatrical vibe totally similar to Arthur Brown, and his Crazy World. In fact we have a Danish Brown, and Vincent Crane, in the same musician! Progressive with great psychedelic force and theatrical expressiveness. Tracks: All tracks written by Tommy Petersen. 01. The Bad, Bad Junker - 00:00 02. Take A Trip - 06:31 03.
