Chick Corea was one of the greatest, most versatile, and creative musicians to ever tickle the ivories. I've transcribed several of his works in the past few years (Spectacle, Spain, Love Castle, Pastime Paradise, This Nearly Was Mine, and a previous version of Armando's Rhumba) and each time I realize that his style and improv is much harder than it sounds. His ability to improvise complex melodic lines and voicings was unsurpassed.
