EDMAKTUBs Association () has started a new project using blow samples for genetic studies in the Mediterranean. How to get this blow? Using a drone (Phantom II DJI NAZA). Here you have images taken by a GoPro Hero 3, mounted on the quadcopter used for blow sampling, over individuals and a group of Sperm whales. Sperm whales are marine mammals common in Western Mediterranean. These Sperm whales were found in the Catalano-Balearic Sea, this area may be affected soon by seismic prospections s
