High Altitude Balloon 25 (360 Camera)

This is footage taken with the (Insta360 ONE) camera on board HAB 25. The balloon capsule contained three other cameras, a Sony Camcorder and two Go Pros. The flight took off from a field west of our neighborhood in Santa Nella, Ca. on 08 May 2020 at about 06:30 PDT. The capsule landed safely in a field southeast of Los Banos, Ca. about 07:40 PDT The tail fins on the capsule failed at take off and put capsule into a spin for a while, but it settled down about five minuets or so into the flight. The missions for this flight were to test rocket thrust at altitude above 100,000 feet, and to test a new capsule release system that was installed for this flight. The capsule release device is designed by a company call Balloon Ascent Technologies.
