History of the Post-Soviet take on Britpop. All footage belongs to their respective owners, this video is for educational purposes. please feel free to correct any translation or info mistakes I made. PROBLEMS WITH THE VIDEO: I had this video lying around for months since I started making it all the way back in September but due to personal reasons, I had to quit for a long period. Take the long break and also add the fact that I tried experimenting with the visuals/format and you are going to get a disaster. There are problems with the audio, those annoying flashes in-between songs, and all kinds of other problems with the video. The most annoying thing is the fact some of these problems aren't visible to me in the video editor (for example the flashes) so I have to export the video to see them. That's all nice and good till I realized that it took basically four hours to export this video. The perfectionist side of me wants to redo everything but realizing that I have to wait another month or so drains the energy of this channel. At this point I just kind of want to get this video finished one way or another. I figured that despite its flaws, the video is still watchable (I think, hopefully) and there is enough interesting information available. I guess you can say that the quality of the video reflects the music (Rokapops fans please don't unsub). This year we will have more content and more variety (from genres to geography), so this video can be considered the last of 2023. We still have a ton of interesting music to go through so in order to start this year, I had to just let go of everything holding us back and get ready to dive headfirst into the crazy world of Izhevsk, Tropicalia, Finnish Post-Punk, Saint Petersburg Zolo, Chinese Grunge and all kinds of weird cool stuff. Sounds cool eh? Yeah, to get started with that I just needed to drop this once and for all. Ok, excuses finished, please let me know about a good free video editor in the comments please. I'll see you in the next video. Special thanks to ionnis for the song graphics and thumbnail. Discord Link:
