Green head Mallard duck drake is most common duck. First, I made a shape from cardboard. Then shaped with toilet paper rolls and kitchen towel rolls. To even out the surface, I used packing paper (you can use newspapers or magazines). I just prefer packing paper because it doesn't make my hands dirty and easier to paint over. It has one color and no see thought letters or pictures from newspapers. The last layer was tissue paper to further even out the surface and give texture. For green paint, I mixed iridescent colors to reflect other colors, too. Materials: cardboard, hot glue, school glue, painters tape, tissue paper, paint brushes, acrylic paint, air hardening modeling clay, wire, half beads for eyes, toilet paper rolls/ kitchen towel rolls, packing paper/newspapers, exacto knife, scissors, high gloss varnish or clear nail polish for eyes.
