Ireland on Fire: Riots & Looting After Stabbing Spree Leaves Child & Adult Fighting for Life Apocalyptic scenes broke out across Dublin, as police vehicles and public transport were torched in the aftermath of a knife attack on three children and an adult, with 34 people arrested in the ensuing chaos that “no-one could have anticipated” according to Garda Commissioner Drew Harris Reports, rumours and eyewitness accounts put the arrested suspect as a migrant in his 40s - although he’s believed to be an Irish citizen who’s lived there for 20 years. TheJournal says a Brazilian migrant used his bike helmet to injure the suspect as he stabbed a 5-year-old.
