Susannah Hoffs, 'Manic Monday' @ Kite Festival, Oxfordshire

How could I forget I went to the tent to see an interview, audience Q&A and short performance by The Bangles' Susannah Hoffs? She was an absolute delight and completely charming. I loved her positivity and she just radiated Californian positivity and upbeatness. The audience totally adored her too and you can hear it in this song. They do the 'oh-o-ohs' in the chorus, even the harmonies. It was an absolute delight and what a treat to be able to see her in such an intimate setting under the searing sun of an early afternoon.
