Iran: Tehran strengthens ties with Armenia as foreign ministers hold joint presser

In a joint press conference, Amir-Abdollahian and Mirzoyan agreed to increase cooperation and open transit routes between the two nations. “Today in this press conference we announce loudly that we will not allow some foreign meddlers to affect the relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran with its neighboring countries, including its good neighbor, the Republic of Armenia,” stated Amir-Abdollahian regarding the recent happenings in the region. The two nations committed to cooperation in all areas of economy, politics, culture, and tourism.
