At the very last minute, I decided to head to Lake Calhoun to capture this storm coming through. I wasn't expecting it to be this bad. This was a long duration storm with winds up to 70 . Many trees were uprooted, torn in half, and blocked streets throughout Minneapolis. I was one of the very few lucky ones whose route home wasn't blocked by trees, and those that fell did so parallel on either side of the street I was driving on when I left the lake.
