Well, here’s the bass part of the song based on a live version of it, as it was played by Gunn in 2003, Nagoya! There are two bass parts on the album: one played on a special fretless Warr guitar, while the other is a more dominant and louder, something synthetically composed part. The version heard in the video is specifically the Warr guitar part of the concert - this is only slightly different from the studio record version. I played it on the upright bass because of the fretless sound, while the stick shows how the fingering looks like on Gunn’s instrument in this song. Thanks for watching!
