easy and yet a great comprehension game is “slam the card“. I usually use 3 to 4 cards depending on the topic and level of my students. Instead of hammer, you can use flyswatters, rolled up newspaper or simply let students play by slamming cards with their hands. Rules are simple: you say a word or use it in a sentence where your students slap the card you just called. Make it quick, 1 minute per pair of kids would be enough.
